In the fall of 2005, Beis Medrash Khal Chasidim was established in a modest one-story home on the corner of Pratt and Richmond. From the very first Friday night davening, it was evident that something truly special was taking shape. Over the next few years, Khal Chasidim blossomed into a vibrant makom of Torah and tefillah. Its inspiring tefillos, welcoming atmosphere, and unique shiurim created a space where everyone, regardless of background, felt at home.
Under the visionary leadership of our Rov and Rebbetzin, the kehilla experienced remarkable growth, both spiritually and physically. By 2008, we had outgrown our original location, prompting plans for a larger Beis Medrash. In 2010, the property across the street was purchased, and in 2012, the new two-story beis medrash opened its doors, marking an exciting new chapter for Khal Chasidim.
Today, Khal Chasidim is a thriving center of Torah, tefillah, and chesed. It serves over 250 families, with more than 60 minyanim and 50 shiurim offered weekly. The Rov’s Sarei Alafim divrei Torah inspire over 1,300 recipients each week, and nearly 100 families benefit from the kehilla’s financial assistance programs.
